2. Zero Account Data Collection

Real Construction Calculator does not require account creation, logins, passwords, credit card numbers, or personally identifiable information (PII) to use our tools. All measurements and calculation parameters you input are processed entirely in your web browser via client-side JavaScript. Your calculations are not saved on our servers or transmitted to remote databases.

3. Local Storage

Our application utilizes browser localStorage solely to improve user experience. Specifically, it remembers:

  • Your recent calculation runs and saved material estimates.
  • Your cookie consent preferences.
  • Your light/dark theme preference.

This data remains solely on your personal device and can be erased at any time by clearing your browser's site data.

4. Optional Analytics & Advertising

RealCalc uses Google Analytics only after you choose "Accept All" in the consent banner. Choosing "Essential Only" prevents optional analytics from loading for that browser session. If advertising services such as Google AdSense are enabled in the future, they will be described here and governed by the consent controls shown on the site.

  • Optional analytics may process device, browser, approximate location, and usage information to help us understand site performance.
  • You may manage Google's advertising and privacy controls through Google Ads Settings.
  • You can also manage third-party advertising preferences through Your Ad Choices or the Your Online Choices (Europe) portal.

5. Affiliate Disclosure

RealCalc participates in affiliate marketing programs (including Home Depot and Amazon Associates). If you click through an affiliate link to purchase materials or tools recommended within our calculators, we may receive a small referral commission at no additional cost to you.
